Director Quality Management

Midland Memorial Hospital has exclusively retained Kirby Bates Associates to lead a national search for a Director of Quality Management.

The Director of Quality Management (Director) is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality and patient safety system that fosters clinical excellence, promotes innovation, and ensures patient safety by participating in clinical initiatives that promote evidence-based practices.  The Director will provide leadership and direction for quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory, hospital accreditation, and cultural diversity departments. The incumbent will report to the Vice President, Quality and Patient Experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in a healthcare field; a nursing degree is highly preferred.
  • Strong foundation in quality and patient safety.
  • Knowledge of Quality Improvement metrics including the ability to collect data, analyze trends, conduct root cause analysis, create, and implement action plans and ensure performance improvement.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of DNV regulatory requirements and the Vizient platform preferred.
