Manager Operating Room


UMSJMC is seeking an experienced, contemporary nursing leader to assume the role of Operating Room Manager. This position reports to the Director of Surgical Services. The Manager will have responsibility for a 12 ORs including 2 Cardiac ORs and a Hybrid OR. Caring for 11,000 cases annually inclusive of 550 open hearts. The Manager will have oversight for approx. 110 FTEs. The opportunity to lead a two-year construction project. Supports to the position include an Educator, Coordinator, Periop Scheduler, Business Manager and Team Leads.


  • A Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • CNOR strongly preferred.
  • Perioperative leadership experience within a complex organizational setting.
