Nurse Director, Perioperative Services

Kirby Bates Associates services have been exclusively retained by Nantucket Cottage Hospital to identify candidates for the Nurse Director, Perioperative Services position.  Nantucket Cottage Hospital offers the best of both worlds – a quaint rural community hospital that is a member of Mass General Brigham, and an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital. The Nurse Director will be on the leading edge of healthcare access in a rural community while enjoying the excitement of a new, state of the art facility.

THE POSITION
The Nurse Director, Perioperative Services will demonstrate strong relationship building skills to provide leadership to nursing and support staff that ensures quality patient care. Department responsibilities include preadmission testing, same-day surgery, operating room, post anesthesia care, and sterile processing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required, master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical perioperative nursing.
• Perioperative leadership experience with preceptor skills preferred.
