Nemours is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) Nurse Manager to join the incredible team at Nemours Children’s Hospital – Delaware. The CICU Nurse Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the 20 bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, including responsibility for strategic planning, ensuring evidence-based care delivery, benchmarked quality patient service and outcomes, continuous improvement, change management, and fiscal stewardship. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse leader with a strong background in cardiac critical care and a passion for pediatric healthcare.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • National Certification in leadership including NE-BC, NEA-BC, CNM, CENP or other leadership certification.
  • Active Registered Nurse License in the state of Delaware (or eligible).
  • 5 years clinical nursing experience, preferably with a pediatric ICU background.
  • Previous pediatric critical care leadership experience.
  • Congenital heart disease knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Magnet principles, professional nursing theory & practice; and change process.
