Kirby Bates Associates has been exclusively retained by UMH-Sparrow to conduct their search for the new President for EW Sparrow Hospital.
The President will lead the system’s flagship hospital, a 733-bed teaching hospital located in Lansing, Michigan, and is ultimately responsible for operational excellence and financial performance of the hospital.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Join a rapidly growing organization whose impact at more than 150 sites of care: EW Sparrow Hospital, community hospitals in Carson City, Charlotte, Ionia and St. Johns, and the 478 UMH-Sparrow primary care providers and specialists serving patients in multiple locations across the region.
- Reports directly to the UMH Regional President.
- Provides executive operational leadership for the regional flagship hospital.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Business, Law, Hospital Administration, or a related clinical field. MHA or MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of seven years of senior level leadership experience within a health system.
- Successful experience in hospital fiscal turnaround and P&L management.
- Experience working within a complex, integrated health system.
