Position Overview
ChristianaCare seeks an accomplished executive to serve as Campus President of Wilmington Hospital, a community hospital and core access point for care in the region. Reporting directly to the System Chief Operating Officer, the Campus President is the senior executive leader and face of the hospital, with full accountability for campus performance.
This role is responsible for operationalizing system strategy, leading all clinical and non‑clinical operations, and driving results across quality, safety, clinical effectiveness, patient experience, caregiver experience, financial performance, and campus growth. Direct reports include Campus Chief Medical Director (CMO), Campus Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), & Campus Clinical Essential Services Leaders (Lab, Pharmacy, Imaging, Rehab, Respiratory). Operating within a highly matrixed environment, the Campus President partners closely with the CMO and CNO to operationalize system strategy while preserving the campus’s distinct culture and strong community connections.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree required, preferably an MHA, MSN, MBA, or related degree.
- Ten (10) years of results-oriented experience in healthcare operations, financial management and development is required with progressive management experience in a hospital environment with success in matrix operating structures.
- Knowledge of integrated healthcare delivery system and health care trends.
- Strong leadership and complex organization management skills at a strategic and operational level.
