Kirby Bates Associates, a premier national healthcare leadership search firm, is partnering with a leading health system In Massachusetts to identify an experienced Interim Director Labor and Delivery for a high‑volume and high‑acuity service line.
The Nursing Director oversees a comprehensive inpatient obstetric service that includes an antenatal unit, a labor and delivery unit, and dedicated triage rooms designed for rapid assessment and stabilization.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- BSN with Master’s degree in a related field, required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience in Labor and Delivery
- Demonstrated evidence of exemplary nursing practice in Labor and Delivery
- Recent experience as a nurse leader responsible for collaboration in a highly matrixed leadership structure helpful.
Our leaders receive an attractive compensation package including housing, transportation, and regular travel home.
The pay rate for this position is $850.00 to $900.00 per day ($221,000 – $234,000 annually). The final pay rate is determined by experience, expertise, and education.
