Administrative Director of Critical Care

ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR OF CRITICAL CARE. The Administrative Director, reporting to the System CNO for CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Health (CGSH), will be responsible for Critical Care Services with accountability for Clinical Directors in the following areas: DAVITA Dialysis, MICU/SICU, IMC Neuroscience, IMC, IMC Cardiovascular/Central Monitoring as well as a Stroke Coordinator. CGSH is seeking a leader to promote the highest quality critical care services for the community and to strengthen relationships with providers to ensure integrated services across the region. Experience as a service line leader with accountability for critical care services. The successful candidate will bring contemporary experience in critical care services, demonstrated success in interdisciplinary collaboration and effective management of systems and processes in a high-volume complex health system.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
• B.S.N required, Master’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Five years nursing management experience in acute care setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective nursing leaders, to mentor and coach others, and to delegate appropriately to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Ability to establish strong collaborative relationships with physician leaders and with leaders of other disciplines. Strong operational leadership ability, fiscal competency, knowledge of resource planning and staffing systems.
