South Shore Hospital is Southeastern Massachusetts’s leading provider of emergency, acute, and outpatient care and is the busiest verified and designated Level II Trauma Center in Massachusetts. They are three times designated by the American Nurse Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition Program and recognized as a Top General Hospital by the Leapfrog Group. South Shore’s scope includes a 374 bed acute care hospital, an ambulatory medical center, an outpatient surgical care center, seven urgent care locations, free standing laboratories, and a home care network.
Opportunity Highlights:
- In a newly created role, lead perioperative service development, personnel management, and resource allocation to support and enhance patient care in the acute care and ambulatory surgery center environment.
- Report to the Chief Nursing Officer and lead a team overseeing hospital operating rooms, pre-op, PACU, endoscopy, central processing department, ambulatory surgery center, pain clinic, and trauma program.
- Drive data driven decision making, quality initiatives, and organizational improvements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s required. BS or MS in Nursing is required.
- Three years of progressively responsible leadership experience in an administrative leadership position.
