Kirby Bates Associates has been exclusively retained by Bayhealth in Delaware to conduct their search for a Director, Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Services.

Bayhealth, a not-for-profit healthcare system, is comprised of Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus with 266 beds in Dover, DE, Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus with 120 beds in Milford, DE, Bayhealth Emergency Center, Smyrna, Bayhealth Cancer Center, Kent Campus, Bayhealth Cancer Center, Sussex Campus, Bayhealth Medical Group Practices, as well numerous satellite facilities and employed physician practices encompassing a variety of specialties.  Bayhealth is an affiliate of Penn Medicine for Heart and Vascular, Cancer and Orthopaedics.

The Director will lead the daily operations of Respiratory Therapy (RT) and Sleep Services (SS) and is responsible for the clinical performance of staff across all campuses of Bayhealth. In collaboration with medical staff and leadership partners, the Director will develop and executes the pulmonary services strategic plan and ensures that all departments meet regulatory standards. The Director also coordinates staffing plans, team goals, and strategies for performance improvement. The Director holds fiscal responsibility for the division and manages the contractual relationship for sleep services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees required (AMA approved school of respiratory care).
• Three years of progressively responsible leadership experience required.
• Three years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current or eligible for DE license to practice Respiratory Care (National Board for Respiratory Care).
• ACLS, and BCLS certifications required. PALS certification preferred.
