Opportunity Highlights: 

  • Accountable for providing strategic leadership and direction for surgical services, including directing, organizing, planning, staffing and resource management.
  • Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer of Mount Nittany Health and works in collaboration with the Mount Nittany Physician Group and Medical Staff.
  • Responsible for strategic planning to ensure market share capitalization and growth.
  • Assists the CNO in support and development of the shared governance structure and decision making,
  • Responsible for supervision of managers and staff, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with community partners.
  • Directs operations and staff for MNMC operating room, post anesthesia unit, sterile processing, ambulatory care unit, endoscopy, pre-assessment testing/anesthesia, medical treatment unit, IV team and Surgery Center.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years progressive healthcare leadership experience.
  • Previous leadership or clinical experience in surgical services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Active PA RN license or eligible for licensure.
