Kirby Bates Associates has been exclusively retained by Nantucket Cottage Hospital (NCH) to conduct their search for a Nurse Director, Nantucket Cottage Medical Group Rural Health Clinic. NCH is a not-for-profit, critical access hospital that serves the Nantucket Island community, providing a broad range of health and wellness services. NCH offers the best of both worlds – a quaint rural community hospital that is a member of Mass General Brigham, an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital, one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers.

The Position:  

The Nurse Director, Nantucket Cottage Medical Group contributes to the organization by coordinating and implementing nursing care for the Nantucket Cottage Medical Group Rural Health Clinic. The Director is accountable for providing effective relationship-based leadership and building a culture of competent, compassionate patient care that supports employee engagement. The position reports to the VP, Community Medicine with a dotted line to the CNO.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the past 5 years as a supervisor or manager in ambulatory care.
• Certification in Ambulatory Nursing preferred.
