VP Nursing/CNO Fox Chase Cancer Center

Fox Chase Cancer Center (FCCC), a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, is part of the Temple University Health System (TUHS). FCCC is one of the first comprehensive cancer centers in the country to earn this designation. FCCC provides patients with access to leading physicians, state-of-the-art technology, novel therapies, and cutting-edge clinical trials, as well as a full spectrum of care including expertise in surgical oncology, medical oncology and radiation oncology.

The Vice President of Nursing and Patient Services (VPPS)/Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) will serve as a transformational leader and provide the vision, Professional Practice model, nursing strategic and quality plans to lead nursing services. The VPPS/CNO is responsible for oversight of nursing practice in both inpatient and ambulatory care and ensures the delivery of innovative, evidence-based patient care. The VPPS/CNO will have administrative responsibility for Pastoral Care and Radiation Oncology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree required, one of which must be in Nursing.
• Licensed or eligible for RN licensure in PA
• Nurse Executive Board Certified (Preferred)
• Oncology Certified Nurse (Preferred)
• Five years’ experience in progressively responsible nursing leadership roles such as ACNO or Director level in an academic teaching hospital, and a National Cancer Institute.
• Magnet experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively and establish collaborative relationships within a matrix environment.
