Since joining Kirby Bates Associates (KBA) in 2005, Peggy has conducted more than 300 executive and senior leadership searches for prominent healthcare organizations across the country. She is exceptionally proficient in candidate development and has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Peggy forms excellent working relationships with clients and effectively meets client timelines by ensuring an efficient search process.

With a very broad and diverse professional network, Peggy quickly becomes a trusted advisor to candidates. She unfailingly matches client expectations for high performing candidates who are a cultural fit for the organization. This is evidenced by Peggy’s outstanding track record for candidate tenure.

Prior to joining Kirby Bates, Peggy served in management, education, and supervisory roles. With more than fifteen years of diverse management and education experience, she held leadership roles in teaching, not-for-profit, and for-profit hospitals. Her early accolades include leading her team to regional recognition as “Unit of the Year” from Nursing Spectrum. Peggy also developed expertise in workforce planning and labor relations as a Director at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Peggy has also served as an interim leader and consultant in the areas of quality, staffing and scheduling.

Peggy earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University in 2018. She completed a Bachelor’s degree with honors at LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA. She has presented on various clinical and quality topics. Most recently she presented to the alumni of the New York University School of Nursing’s Black Leadership Institute to support their understanding of the executive selection process.

Peggy is actively engaged in professional and community activities. She is an active member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, the Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders as well as the Southeastern Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders.
