AVP Bone Marrow Transplant

The Fox Chase – Temple University Hospital (TUH) Bone Marrow Transplant Program will become the newest department at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Chaired by Henry Chi Hang Fung, MD, FACP, FRCPE, Director of the BMT program and Vice Chair of the Department of Hematology/Oncology.   The program performs more than 100 blood and marrow transplants a year. The state-of-the-art facility occupies the entire fifth floor, of the Patient Care Center at Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus, which was recently renovated. The fifth floor includes 18 inpatient beds as well as ambulatory services and Photopheresis. The Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) reviewed all 180 transplant centers in the U.S. and ranked only 12 adult centers as performing above expectations. Fox Chase was the only center in the tristate area and one of only two in PA to achieve the distinction. The AVP BMT will lead day to day operations and growth of the department. It is an opportunity for a flexible, innovative leader with strong financial acumen and a national presence in BMT, to create the vision and a strategic plan to move the department forward.
