AVP Occupational/Employee Health Services

Kirby Bates Associates is pleased to partner with Temple University Health System (TUHS) in their search for an AVP of Occupational/Employee Health Services (AVP).

TUHS consists of Temple University Hospital (TUH), Fox Chase Cancer Center, TUH- Jeanes Hospital, TUH-Episcopal Campus, TUH-Northeastern Campus, Temple Physicians, Inc., and the Temple Transport Team.  Temple Health is proudly affiliated with the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.

The AVP plans, directs, and evaluates the operations of the Occupational Health and Employee Health Services and has oversight for all Occupational Health operations and department staff.  Serves as a liaison between Occupational Health/Employee Health Services and other hospital campuses and external clients. Has a business and clinical focus, engages in performance management, and expands the Occupational Health services beyond the Health System.

Education and Experience Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Nursing, Health Administration, or health care related field of study (Required).
  • Master’s Degree: Nursing, Health Administration or Business with a focus on healthcare management or related field (Preferred).
  • Licensed or eligible for RN licensure in PA (Preferred).
  • Certification in leadership (Preferred).
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) (Preferred).
  • Three years’ experience in Occupational Health or worker’s compensation in a health care setting. (Required).
  • Five Years’ experience in a supervisory or administrative position in a clinical setting (Required).
  • Experience expanding Occupational health services both internally and externally (Preferred).
  • General Experience with intradermal injections and venipuncture. (Preferred).
