THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly to the new CEO, the Chief Financial Officer will be integral in assisting the system to continue to grow, helping to develop opportunities as presented by acquisition and affiliation targets, population health and other market influences. The CFO will lead a robust, visible and integrated finance organization designed to support growth activity, performance metrics and operational excellence of the organization. Additionally, the CFO will partner with physician stakeholders, continue to solidify and grow relationships with these valued resources, and will be a leader who proactively supports the mission of the organization internally and in the community.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be a strategic financial executive with more than 10 years of health care experience in progressively more senior positions and have significant experience in the full financial management of a robust hospital or health system. Experience within a community hospital/system environment, including responsibility for treasury, debt, ratings and mergers/acquisitions is valued. A master’s degree or CPA designation is strongly desired. A forward-thinking financial executive who enjoys staying current with new trends and who is strategic in nature is ideal.
