Dartmouth Health has exclusively retained Kirby Bates Associates to identify their next Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing practice, operations, and strategy for the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock, a member of Dartmouth Health, is the state’s only academic medical center and the only Level 1 Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in New Hampshire. The 2 million square foot campus includes the 396-bed Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center which encompasses the Dartmouth Cancer Center (an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center), Dartmouth Childrens’ including the Children’s Hospital At Dartmouth; and the only air ambulance service (DHART) in the state.

  • Join a collaborative, high functioning senior leadership team that includes the CMO, CQO, COO, CFO, VP Research, and VP Education.
  • Reports directly to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) EVP/Dartmouth Health CNE.
  • Oversee all aspects of nursing operations and strategy for DHMC and three large multi-specialty clinics.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years’ experience in nursing leadership within a large, complex academic medical center.
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree required, one of which must be in Nursing; DNP or PhD in nursing or other related discipline strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a matrix reporting structure.
