The Director of Nursing position at the Chestnut Hill campus, offers an outstanding opportunity for a nursing leader who is passionate about Oncology and the delivery of world class cancer care to join the renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI).  The Chestnut Hill campus, a new state-of-the-art 140,000 sq ft facility which opened in January of 2021, was designed to mirror the Disease Center model of multidisciplinary care delivery and clinical research delivered at the innovative Yawkey Center at the DFCI Longwood Medical Campus. The Director of Nursing, Chestnut Hill (Director) is a new position added to support the facility’s growth.

The Director will:

  • Establish a culture of patient and family first care,
  • Be responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of clinical operations and personnel management,
  • Foster innovation and drive excellence in the areas of Quality, Magnet, Education, and Regulatory Compliance,
  • Maintain the standards of nursing practice, policies, and procedures, and
  • Advance programs to improve care delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, one of which must be in Nursing.
  • Demonstrated nursing leadership at various levels.
  • Oncology Experience. (OCN, AOCN, or CPON Preferred)
  • Knowledge of Quality, Magnet and Regulatory compliance.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
