Norris Cotton Cancer Center (NCCC), a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, is part of Dartmouth Hitchcock.  Northern New England’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Director Radiation Oncology with five years of managerial experience and a demonstrated record of accomplishment in roles with increasing responsibility managing people and operations. Norris Cotton Cancer Center (NCCC) is NCI-designated and employs a renowned team of providers, researchers, nurses, and allied health professionals.

As part of the leadership team, the Director of Radiation Oncology at NCCC reports to the Vice President of Clinical Centers and is a role that requires commitment, compassion, and the ability to execute the strategic vision. The ideal candidate will be on a career path in cancer care operations with expertise in the areas of operations, management of teams, communication skills, and the professional development, cross training, and engagement of clinical and support staff.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in management or clinical specialty with 5 years of technical and managerial experience.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, oral, and writing skills required.
  • Exemplary leadership qualities. Proven track record of mentorship and enhancing employee engagement
  • Strong business acumen. Metrics-driven, outcomes oriented.
  • The ability to relate and deal effectively with physicians, administrators, support staff, and the general public with a high degree of tact and discretion required.
  • Ability to work effectively and establish collaborative relationships with physicians and staff.
