Kirby Bates Associates, a nationally recognized healthcare leadership firm, is seeking an experienced Interim Laboratory Director for a health system in North Carolina. This organization encompasses three hospitals, 13 medical practices, a Cancer Center, a Rehabilitation Center, and a Healthcare Foundation, offering a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Current North Carolina Medical Technologist license.
- Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience within a hospital or health system.
- Proven success in managing service lines, including fiscal oversight, human capital management, strategic planning, operational leadership across multiple clinical areas, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association at time of hire.
The final pay rate is determined by experience, expertise, and education.
