Interim Nurse Manager Acute Rehabilitation

Kirby Bates Associates, a national nursing Search and Consulting Firm, is working in partnership with the prestigious Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine to secure a nursing leadership professional to serve as an interim leader for its acute rehabilitation services. This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned nurse leader to provide direction leadership within an outstanding organization. This opportunity affords the right candidate to work in a nursing organization with new a new CNO leader, leading a major initiative of reorganization and transformation.

The Position

Primary responsibilities include conducting a comprehensive assessment of inpatient rehabilitation services, followed by the development of a GAP analysis, and implementation plans to foster needed improvements. The Nurse Leader supports the consistent use of the nursing process in a professional and healthy work environment. In addition, the Nurse Leader is responsible and accountable for achieving departmental level expected Quality, Financial, Customer Service, Throughput, and People results.

Qualifications
  • BSN required, MS strongly preferred.
  • Ten years of clinical experience and a minimum of five (5) years of management experience in acute rehabilitation, LTAC, or other related settings.
  • Content expert in specialty and standards of practice in rehabilitation nursing.
  • Currently license as an RN in the State of Maine or licensed with a eNLC (Compact) License.
  • CRRN certification or other nationally recognized certifications, strongly preferred.
