Nemours Children’s Health have exclusively retained Kirby Bates Associates to conduct a search for their Senior Vice President, Chief Nursing and Patient Operations Officer (SVP, CNO) for the Central Florida region clinical sites.
Established in 1936 by Alfred du Pont, Nemours Children’s Health is one of the largest integrated pediatric health systems in the country. Nemours is the only Children’s Health System to offer two state-of-the-art hospitals, in Delaware and Florida, and over 95 outpatient and research facilities in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida and cares for over 480,000 children annually.
The SVP, CNO will serve as the senior nurse executive for the 130 bed Orlando hospital and all Central Florida clinical sites with responsibility for administrative, financial, and operational management of Acute and Critical Care, Perioperative, Ambulatory, Pharmacy, Respiratory, Nutrition, Transport, Patient Flow, Professional Excellence, and Family Services. The SVP, CNO is responsible for establishing and fulfilling a vision that engenders service excellence, high operational performance, and national standards for nursing practice and ancillary care while ensuring effective and collaborative inter-professional relationships. The SVP, CNO will lead strategic planning, promote safe patient care practices, ensure evidence-based care delivery, achieve benchmarked quality outcomes, continuous improvement, professional development, and research.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing is required; DNP and certification in Nursing Administration preferred.
- Seven or more years of current nursing leadership experience and progressive leadership development. Previous experience as a hospital executive preferred.
- Well-developed change management skills.
- A mission driven leader with strong financial acumen.
