Kirby Bates Associates has been exclusively retained by University of Michigan Health-Sparrow (UMH-Sparrow) to conduct the search for the next Vice President, Operations at UM Health-Sparrow Lansing.
The Vice President, Operations will report directly to the Hospital President and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic and operational leadership across multiple hospital and support service areas. This leader will play a pivotal role in advancing patient experience, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and community engagement.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field required.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including at least 5 years in an executive role within a healthcare organization.
- Proven track record of leading change management, operational improvement, and financial performance in a complex hospital environment.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with ability to engage physicians, caregivers, and community stakeholders.
