Vice President, Leadership Liaison, Interim Leadership Services
Pam is an experienced healthcare executive with over 30 years of accomplishing strategic and operational change within integrated delivery systems, academic medical centers, hospitals, medical groups, disease management companies and healthcare recruitment firms. She currently serves as Vice President, Leadership Liaison for Interim Leadership Services at Kirby Bates Associates working with healthcare clients and interim leaders.
Pam brings diverse experience and demonstrated success from serving as Chief Administrative Officer for the Pediatric/Obstetric Faculty Practice Organization and Vice President for Physician and Ambulatory Services at Stanford Children’s Health/Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, Vice President for Physician Services at Satellite Healthcare, Medical Group Administrator at Kaiser Permanente, Providence St. Joseph Health and NorthBay Healthcare Systems, and as a hospital executive at several medical centers throughout northern and southern California.
More recently, Pam held interim executive positions with Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego and Oregon Health and Science University Hospital before joining B. E. Smith as Vice President Leadership Advisor and Strategic Accounts.
Throughout her career, she is recognized for creating partnerships with Boards of Directors and physicians, developing high performance management teams, growing volume, improving the patient experience and client engagement, implementing innovative operational improvements and cost management initiatives.
Pam holds an M.A. in Health Services Administration from George Washington University and a B.S. in Health Planning and Administration from Pennsylvania State University. She is an active member of the California Association of Healthcare Executives and a fellow in both the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
